CNN cameraman Margaret Moth fearlessly captures images from war zones. Premiere at Sundance with Christiane Amanpour directed by Lucy Lawless. You saw it at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. "Never Look Away" is an interesting documentary about photojournalist Margaret Moth, presented with insightful discussion, good presentation and a strong sense of direction and tone. Documentaries about photography and war are not new, as the structure of the documentary is nothing grand or wonderful, but the core of its emotional message, the direction and style of the documentary still remained a great investment. Moth is an interesting person and the documentary does a good job of telling who she was, her influence on her work and what made her special. Even though the music is a little weird and some of the editing options are a little confusing, I found myself enjoying it overall.
