Follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist built on exposing wrongdoing in long-respected institutions.. Gary Oldman was originally rumored to star, but was replaced by Kevin Kline.. In several episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens.
I had to give up halfway through part 3
Such a lens will not be able to focus on close-up subjects, such as taking a selfie with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine. This is one of the worst shows I’ve ever seen, and even Cate Blanchett couldn’t save it. This is coming from someone who read the book in anticipation of this show.
That irritating transition!
I must say that I found the book to be very average. I can’t believe how many things went wrong. I mean what’s up with the audio quality and that awful useless narration?
The whole show is so boring
Everything seems so out of place in this mess of a show. Pretty sure the ratings are fake, this can’t be a 7 star show. The dialogues of the young actors are simply cracking.
One star for the cat
From the beginning, we already know what happened, contrary to the book, and if I remember correctly, we’re left with nothing once the mystery is gone. I was really looking forward to this.
